What’s Play Station Gift card?
PlaysStation+ is actually a subscription service, meaning a user who subscribes will receive a ton of free PSN games throughout the year. On top of that, there are a few paid games, but as stated earlier, those can also be found with the PSN. If you don’t care about subscription games or PlayStation Plus, then you can just buy a cheap console to play what you already own. Here’s the thing though. Sometimes, there will be a sale or a Christmas Bonus for playing specific games (Resident Evil 7 and Now TV, for instance). Once that happened, most of us knew about it and were able to buy those games for cheap, usually at PSN. It’s definitely an option but be aware, if you’re getting someone who would rather play a $60 game, that’s where the real trouble is.
How To Get Play Station Gift Card?
Sony releases their newest gift cards in June and December. If you order one in August, it can be shipped from October to February. However, if you order one in June, it can be shipped in July.
You can also order an online credit card gift card from one of the major card companies such as Bank of America, Chase, Capital One or Discover.
You can also give your friends one for the gaming console they’ve been eyeing to play the newest title released by a video game company.
How To Use Play Station Gift Card?
Step 1: Buy a PSN Gift Card
The official PlayStation store offers five different PSN gift cards in the US and five in the UK: PS3, PS4, PS Vita, PS VR and the PS Plus Bonus Card. You can find the gift cards on the store using the shopping cart icon in the top right corner of the home screen.
Step 2: Link Your PSN Wallet to the Gift Card
You have two options: you can either link the gift card to your PSN Wallet using a PS3 or PS4 system via the PSN store app, or you can log into your PSN account on a computer, tablet or smartphone and go to the PlayStation Store using the PS3 or PS4. This second option is the preferred method as it makes linking your PSN wallet via the mobile app a no-go.
How To Redeem Play Station Gift Card?
PlayStation has said that a “set number of tickets will be released by PlayStation Team Hubs on a first-come, first-served basis.”
Should you be lucky enough to snag tickets on the first round, please note that if you did not enter your pre-order information with Sony directly, the tickets will not be guaranteed and you must contact Sony customer service within 60 days after your purchase.
Additionally, you will not be able to purchase additional tickets in the same sale.
